This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Disney Junior. All opinions are 100% mine.

Don’t get me wrong here because I love all of my kids equally.  My 3 boys have been so much fun to raise from babies to teens.  However, I got a little tired of dump trucks, dinosaurs, and bugs and not being able to purchase all the cute little girl things I saw EVERYWHERE.  My little Kynlea came along and turned my whole world upside down.  Let’s face it, little boys don’t like playing with makeup, or going shopping or painting their nails.  My Kynlea loves it ALL, and it’s just a ton of fun.  My favorite thing to do is cuddling with her and watching our favorite Disney Junior cartoons.  Spending Mommy and Me time doesn’t have to be costly either, that’s what’s so great about it.  Quality time is the most important thing and it’s something I will treasure for always.

  1. Makeovers and Nails – Grab your old makeup, or head to the drugstore and grab some little girls play makeup and have a fun afternoon of makeovers and nail painting.
  2. Exercising – I like to work out at least 3-4 days a week and my daughter is none the happier to get on her cute little workout clothes and join on in.  She is going to make a great fitness instructor one day.  This is a fun activity to do with your daughter, and also great for showing healthy habits.
  3. Baking – I really don’t know any little girl who doesn’t like helping Mommy in the kitchen.  Baking is Kynlea’s favorite, and she even loves to help wash dishes. I’ll take that while she’s offering 😉
  4. Crafts – there are always things laying around the house to use for crafts.  It really doesn’t take much to please Ms. Kynlea.  We made her very own bird house/feeder last week (stay tuned I’ll be sharing very soon).
  5. Nature Walks – Going for walks with your little one has a lot of perks…. sunshine, fresh air, and souvenirs.
  6. Movie Night in the Daytime – That’s right, in the daytime.  My boys are all in school and my daughter stays home with me…. but that will come to an end this fall, and I don’t want to talk about it.  So until then, I’ll have as many Daytime Movie Nights with my baby girl as I can.  Pop in a Disney movie and snuggle up.
  7. Picnic – If you have a nice park in your area, pack up a healthy easy lunch and take it to the park.  Then you can play when you’re done!
  8. Venture out with the camera – I keep my camera on me at all times and love taking pictures of my kiddos. If your daughter is old enough, allow her to take over your camera a little while and see how she sees the world through her own eyes.
  9. Read together – Most kids I know love books.  It’s a perfect opportunity to snuggle up and switch off reading stories and answering their questions.
  10. Girls Day Shopping – I don’t like to spoil my girl by any means, however… sometimes she needs things, and sometimes those things have Minnie Mouse on them 🙂 Shopping is one of our favorite things to do, and it’s almost always done at our Walmart since I’m getting groceries there anyway.

Speaking of Mommy and Me shopping trips, we took a trip to Walmart this weekend to look for a few things Kynlea spotted online.  There were several cute new Minnie Mouse outfits in stock, including this cute Minnie Mouse Toddler Girl 2-Fer Dress.   She’s actually really into her legging outfits, so I was rather surprised that she opted for this cute little get up over the Disney Minnie Mouse Toddler Girls’ Peplum Tunic and Leggings Outfit Set, but I have a feeling we’ll be going back for it very soon.  Since she’s been asking for a new bedding set, we then strolled over to the bedding section to get an updated set for her bed.  I found a really cute Disney Minnie Mouse Bow Power 4-piece Toddler Bedding SetDisney Bedding Set MinnieMe Hopefully she’ll be getting into a twin size bed soon, because I found a nice Minnie Mouse twin set as well.  Fixing my bed every morning doesn’t really count as Mommy and Me time, but Kynlea sees it differently.  When I fix my bed, she loves to fix hers, and even though it’s not done perfectly, it’s still cute to watch her do it on her own.  I just hope that carries on into her teenage years :). On our trip to Walmart, we were in search of this Disney Minnie Mouse Bows and Dots Beach Towel. Walmart carries it online, so we ordered it! This is such a cute towel, and it’ll be great for our next trip to the beach.

Mommy and Me shopping trips are always a lot of fun.  No matter how her tastes have changed in her short 5 years, Kynlea has always loved Minnie Mouse, from clothing to toys and stuffed animals.  Be sure to check out all the newest Disney Junior Minnie Mouse items available on your next trip to Walmart.
